You Can SANG?

What is Singing? Like can't we just appreciate the entertainment aspect of it all. Does every person that comes out on the music scene have to sound like Mary J. Blige, Areatha Franklin, and Teena Marie? Can't we just like the music and the personality of the artist rather than expecting them to sound like a powerhouse? Leave Cassie, Ashanti, Janet Jackson, Aaliyah (R.I.P) and Ciara alone. Again everybody can't and won't sound like a gospel singer and even those that do such as Fantasia aren't living up to the hype and extreme success that they would have had in the 90's.
