I have never heard any of his music before, but I remember seeing his face posted up on Billboards for Sean John ad's. He was shot and killed yesterday by a woman, a woman he probably knew. Not to be direct and cold, but rappers getting killed should also become played out as well, violence is violence and it has no preference, however it's overwhelming in the rap community, every couple of years a "gangster" rapper is killed. Shit like this is why HIP HOP is DEAD because you people that talk about nothing and do nothing but you have the time to take a life...

Fashion World War: REDUX

It was recently pointed to me that I was rambling in my Fashion World War post. Yeah I tend to do that a lot when I get passionate about topics that I care about. The world of fashion reminds me of the old days when it was illegal to be black and when I think about the fashion world, I can't help but think about segregational movies like 'The Long Walk Home, The Color Purple, Hotel Rowanda, Do The Right Thing, Roots. Fashion is Racist and I'm not going to be like those black people who used to do Sit In's to eat at all white resturants, because I don't have to anymore. So I'm certainly not going to protest anymore about why blacks are told we won't sell magazine covers. Fuck that start your own shit and believe in it so the people will respond to you and follow.

I'll take the shirt, you can keep those played ass shades from Ray Ban.

Fashion World War:

The fashion world is one of those entities that is still trying to hold on to those old 'Jim Crow' ways of living. Are blacks seriously trying to gain respect and appreciation that some of our elders and ancestors were trying to gain in the early and middle days of Amerika? A "Black Issue" shouldn't have been an issue at all. It was praised and rejoiced upon about being so great, just as such when bathrooms, hospitals and schools became integrated in the 40's. What makes it so not effective, is that the Issue is not so much of race in Italy as it is in Amerika. Slavery was here in Amerika where blacks were not even considered human,and were not allowed to have jobs that could provide joy,and a comfortable income. In 2009 I should not have been impressed with black models being on covers and in editorial of magazines, I figured by this time we had gotten passed that Traditional Racism that were so used to seeing and migrated to the new racism that we see now. Some of that new racism has made it's way through the minds of some gay designers, Who even though experience alienation and disgrace,still somehow eject the same treatment towards blacks. Did you notice how I said Gay and didn't give you a race? That's because it seem like the Fashion World is this big zombie that turns everyone into the same once they join the "crew". So many things that make me scrunch my face when I look at this industry, how all the models look the same even the minorities due to reconstructive face surgery, how all the models have the same weight as most individuals on they're death beds, and how the fashion world has shaped our minds on what being beautiful is. The Devil Wears Prada was a film that was merely entertainment for the most part, however it also showcased the aura of what the world of fashion can be like. The character Miranda who is supposed to be the Devil Anna Wintour, has a right hand gay man that she fucks over time and time again throughout the movie. Clearly he was supposed to Andre Leon Tally, before I go in I know that many things in the movie were exaggerated however I do feel as if there are many truths to the film as well. Andre is clearly bigger and forward than American Vogue, so I find it sad when you hear rumors of Corriane Roitfield taking over before you hear his name.I feel he has what it takes to move the magazine and make it the successful trend maker that it used to be. If you think about it being the Editor at Vogue is similar to being a President circa 2006 "A black man ain't never gonna be president". Because if this happens then the lily white publication could become a jungle full of black models from AFRICA and destroy it's classy sophisticated magazine.
I don't feel that Anna Wintour is racist but I wouldn't be surprised or taken off guard if I found out she was. She probably doesn't know how to really communicate with people that make up the majority of what is considered lower class in Amerika who are black.If you ever get a chance to see pictures of her in shots with other people you can see that she is standoffish with almost everyone, even those that she likes and admires. Black people can sometimes be direct and not passive aggressive at all, and many black people tend to tell you how they feel when they feel they are being attacked, a feeling which comes from constantly being told that you are not as important as white people. This might disrupt her world and make her uncomfortable so she chooses not to even allow that kind of assumption come to life, which might scar her integrity. All in all what needs to happen is a Destruction, a Rebirth, and a New World Order in the fashion world.

When you don't look the part (looking like everyone else) regardless if it's in your physical features, your style, your dialect, whatever that sets you apart from the rest. You gotta be prepared to take the good and the bad, you'll get people that like your style and will be quick to tell you that your doing it. And then you will have people that will be caught off guard and will do the same, only this time they're pulling your card and playing you. Always remember that your reaction matters the most, your reaction shows the kind of person that you really are. People that can't see life no other way but their own, are usually narrowed minded ignorant fools. And I'm not saying Ignorant in a bad way, Ignorant meaning they just haven't discovered anything pass their block. So to arguing with people that are foolish, shows that you are just as foolish to argue with a fool. It's until that fool puts his/her hands on you is when you start checking asses.

Vibe and Vogue got something in common.

You would think that Vibe magazine would grow by this point. It's 2009 and their layout is still the same as in the starting of the millenium, and they try to use Shocking headlines to draw us into a sad understanding that you all are standing on your last hairs. I can feel the magazine about to fold any day now, the people there have really lost the spark that Vibe had in the 90's. Eminem I'm not sure however if your really going to succeed this time around. People have moved on from the angry rapper who has issues with everyone around him and his mother. You prove that your lost in your career, by bringing up old beef..yes beef..with Mariah Carey? Who cares if you peed on her, you and 50 remind me of the two bullies that sat in the back of class and made fun of people because your mother's didn't tell you they loved you enough and chose men/they're life over you.I would have thought that you being out of the game for so long that you would come back with something new and refreshing...well that's what I get for having High Expectations, you get let down real hard.

Anna continues to use Hollywood as a way to sell her Yawn Ass magazine, and clearly she hasn't gotten it yet...What the fuck was the Met Ball for anyways? Wasn't the theme Model as Muse? Cameron Diaz is not fly like that to be put on the cover of a fashion magazine. She's not stylish or new, as a matter of fact she's a Fashionista....and if you read my blog you know that Fashionista means I'm playing you...This issue looks like a House and Garden, Oprah, Martha Stewart mash up...
